We are hopeful that you obtain a copy of the 2015 Business Directory & Relocation Guide which will be an essential guide to living, shopping and doing business in Kent. Whether you’re a newcomer or a longtime resident, this user-friendly guide gives you a first-hand look at your community, along with simple ways to FIND IT IN KENT!! You are encouraged to do business with the companies who invest in their community through membership in the Kent Chamber of Commerce. Together we are all working to enhance community prosperity in Kent.
These days, livability and economic vitality go hand in hand. In Kent, our relatively low home prices, gorgeous parks, reputable schools, and expanding job base mean more people than ever are seeking us out as a place to open businesses and spread their entrepreneurial wings.
Whether it is strolling among the numerous diverse shops or dining in our many fabulous restaurants, there are plenty of ways to unwind in Kent. 2014 marked the fifth season of the Seattle Thunderbirds ice hockey team and they continue to draw people from all over to experience the heart pounding excitement of hockey. In 2009 ShoWare Center, a 6,025-seat facility opened just a few blocks from Kent Station Family Shopping Center, Sound Transit, Kent Commons and Historical Downtown. The ShoWare Center has brought diverse entertainment to Kent including Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey, concerts, Business Expos, Technology Expos, conferences, skating events, banquets and much more. In 2014, a key to our downtown growth will open in the form of a 164 unit mixed use residential apartment complex, called the Platform.
With this guide you can see how much industry and opportunity has already located in Kent and why more will be coming soon!
