Library Cards
Welcome to the King County Library System! With a KCLS library card, you can borrow materials, get free access to subscription online databases, reserve a PC to use within a KCLS library and much more.
Fill out a KCLS library card application online. Your new library card will be mailed to you within 14 days.
You may also download and print a library card application (forms are available in eight different languages)
Completed forms may be returned to your local library.
To confirm your eligibility for a KCLS library card, see the Areas Served by KCLS and Borrowing Outside of KCLS Service Areas pages.
The first time you use your new card at the library or before you use our eBook service, you will be asked to present photo ID with birth date (e.g., a driver’s license, Washington State ID card, or passport) and identification that verifies your current address (e.g., a utility bill).

Library 2GO! (Library Outreach)
The Library2Go! outreach program encompasses many great mobile outreach services, including ABC Express, the Traveling Library Center, Library2Go!, and Techlab. These vehicles bring library services out into the community, offering a wide range of options to many who are unable to travel to a library building.
